The problem of research lies in the need to adopt the concept of quality assurance and the implementation of its standards in educational institutions to determine the expectations of the society and beneficiaries of educational institutions.

Also, the objective of this paper is to work to adapt and follow-up the activities of the institution and comparing them with the global levels and adapt to the appropriate technical and socio-economic variables to the graduates market work.

The paper also aims at spreading the culture of quality to all employees in the institution by using scientific methods to develop educational resources, curricula and techniques of education and adopt the concept of error, any proper performance without mistakes of the first time, which reduces loss and reduces the cost of education.

The importance of such studies is being one of the basic pillars of our educational institutions to respond to the needs and requirements of development and promotion according to quality and diversity, and enhances the performance of universities to the standards of quality assurance according to international standards, and also subject to theoretical concepts of the concept of standards quality assurance topics and higher studies.

The research aims at identifying the extent to which quality assurance standards are applied in the subjects of postgraduate studies in the Colleges of Education and Basic Education.

Mustansiriya University.

The study is limited to (1.261) teachers who worked in the Departments of the Basic Education Colleges at Mustansiriya University for the academic year (2017 / 2018).

The researcher identified a set of terms related to the research and displayed the literature related to the topic of research.

A sample of 200 individuals which is 20% of the research community was collected.

The researcher constructed a research tool by looking at the literature and previous studies, as well as the open question.

The validity and stability of the instrument was performed.

finally, the researcher developed a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals for research.
