This study seeks to know the role of foreign direct investment in reducing unemployment in Algeria during the period 2002-201 6 .

The study found that despite all efforts exerted by the Algerian state to attract foreign direct investments as a mechanism to reduce unemployment, And the contribution of this type of investment to eliminate this phenomenon is still below the required level in the creation of jobs compared to the potential and natural resources available to Algeria, and recommends the study of the need to create a more stimulating investment climate through the activation and revitalization of the role of the private sector and Effective promotion of investment opportunities and the elimination of all forms of administrative and financial corruption
