Probe thinking is depending on delivering the questions and looking for answers' where this process making the students active and capable of looking for the right answer.
This kind of thinking help to build the cognitive bases among the student and teacher and to develop the superior thinking development and regards as the dynamo of learning forever The self-concept is one of the main variables connecting with personality helping in orders tending the humor behavior and its explanation.
This study aims to measure the probe thinking among the students of Baghdad and tektite universities to measure the self-concept among the students of the university, to identify the statistical differences significance in the probe thinking of the students of the university according to say variable, to identify the differences significance in the level of self-concept among the students of the university according to sex variable and to identify the correlation between probe thinking and self-concept among the students of Baghdad and tektite universities.
The sanple of this study consists of two sonless the lst is build the scale consisting of (300) males and females students and the 2nd which is the main application one consisting of( 300) males and ferules students where there are (150) males and (150) ferules.
The sample has been stetted randomly to help the researcher to distribute then equally according to say variable.
The researcher reaches to the following results: 1-The subjects of the sample have probe thinking at (0,05)significance level.
2-The subjects of the sample have self-concept at (0,05) significance level.
3-Thers and no statistical differences significance in the scale of probe thinking according to sex variable among the students of the university at (.,005)significance level.
4-There are statistical differences significance in the scale of selfconcept among the students of the university according to say variable at (.,005) significance level.
5-There is high positive correlation at (0,37) bet wean the scale of probe thinking and the scale of self-concept among the students of the two universities.
The researcher reaches to some of suggestions and recommendation.
