Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the importance of the oil sector in the economies of most countries, especially the oil producing countries, because of its various contributions in moving the wheel of economies from the recruitment, financing and insurance of local needs.

However, the study- found that this reliance on it alone and neglect of the other sectors proved to be a failure due to its limited achievement of the desired development goals for many reasons, both locally and internationally.

This is what has been achieved through the effects of the oil crises of 1986 and 2014.

which hit the Algerian economy.
