Abstract EN

This study aims to assess the current situation of financial inclusion in Jordan, and highlighting the efforts exerted to enhance it by the Central Bank of Jordan.

To achieve this objective, this study is based on the analytical descriptive approach by describing and analyzing the reality based on World Bank statistics and the strategic vision of the Central Bank of Jordan to enhance financial inclusion.

This research concluded several conclusions: Financial inclusion in Jordan is relatively low, Where the percentage of possession accounts for 24.6% of persons aged (15 years and gave up), and the proportion of female low 15.5% compared to 33.3% for males.

The research also found that the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion in Jordan for the next three years (2018-2019-2020) will focus primarily on the excluded and financially underprivileged categories of low- and marginalized-income adults, micro- and small-scale enterprises, Youth, women, non-Jordanians and refugees.
