Abstract EN

This study tried to determine the various determinants of the flow of Algerian exports to various trading partners between 2000 and 2017, in order to identify the various factors and variables that affect these exports, The study used time and cross-sectional data on the economic and non-economic variables available for Algeria and the countries of the study sample, in order to estimate an expanded attractiveness model between Algeria and these countries.

The new standard techniques were employed using the panel data methodology.

The results of the estimation process resulted in obtaining the signals of the estimations of the model as expected.

The positive effect of all the explanatory variables represented by the size of the economy, the GDP per capita, as well as the population of both Algeria and its partner countries showed the size of the Algerian exports.

The negative impact of geographical distance on the size of these exports was also shown.
