As the strategic vigilance responds to the organization's requirements for what it does not know about its business environment, globalization has introduced business intelligence into a new approach.

The development of information and communication technologies has changed the world.

In this research we try to highlight the applications of economic intelligence strategy in Algerian companies.

Finally, we found that the Algerian institution responds in a theoretical manner to the applications of the economic intelligence strategy through the use of guarding methods and the protection of its information properties and guarding its environment.

These institutions also rely on the general policy of defense of economic intelligence.
