This paper tries to investigate the affects of the Marzano model on the 7th grade students’ attitudes towards the environment in the science class.

The study has three (H0) and the students of 2015- 2016 have been taken purposely in Zale basic school in Slemani governorate.

The sample is 48 students; they were divided into two groups, the Marzano model has been used on the first group “experimental group” who were 25 students.

The second group “traditional group’ was 23 students who did not take the model in the science class and taught traditionally.

The variables of the study were equalized for the two groups, which are “the total 6th class grades of science class in 2014-2015, age, IQ and attitudes towards the environment”.

Questioner has been used to see how the students attitudes towards the environment are, which 43 items were to used in the questioner.

In addition to that, the questioner was evaluated by experts of the major to see the shortcoming of the questions and issues that may occur.

Alpha Cronbach also is used to check the reliability of the questions which the results were 8.80.

But, test retest results were 0.85.

The experiment started from October 24th of 2015 to November 21st of 2015 when the plans were implemented on the both of the groups.

After the data collation, the data has been analyzed with T-test for both of the dependent and independent variables.

The main findings are:  There is a different in the students’ average grades in both before and after the test in their attitudes towards the environment among the experimental group.

 There is a different in the students’ average grades in both before and after the test in their attitudes towards the environment among the traditional group.

 There is an evidential statistical difference between the grades of the experimental and average grades of the control group, which seems to be in favor of the experimental group
