The present work aimed to establish a morphological characterization of 10 sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.
Moench) cultivars sampled from farmers of Oued Righ valley.
The study was based on the evaluation of 20 agromorphological parameters of which 14 are quantitative and 6 qualitative.
Principal components analysis (ACP) of the results suggested interdependence of evaluated parameters and showed significant differences among cultivars.
The study revealed eight highly significant correlations, including four positive and four negative.
The cultivars of the Blidet Amor region, Bouhnik "BA1" and Mahjoubi "BA3", and the cultivar of the Nezla region, Boucetta "N4" expressed the best values for the number of tillers, the length of the seed and the weight of 1000 seeds.

Le présent travail a pour objectif la caractérisation morphologique de 10 cultivars de sorgho (Sorghum bicolor L.
Moench), échantillonnés auprès des agriculteurs de la vallée d'Oued Righ..
Cette étude a porté sur l’évaluation de 20 paramètres agro morphologiques dont 14 quantitatifs et six qualitatifs.
L’analyse en Composantes Principales (ACP), a mis en évidence une interdépendance des caractères étudiés et des différences nettes entre cultivars ont été observés.
En outre, l’étude a révélé huit corrélations hautement significatives entre les caractères étudiés dont quatre positives et quatre négatives.
Les cultivars de la région de Blidet Amor, Bouhnik " BA1" et Mahjoubi " BA3 " et le cultivar de la région de Nezla, Boucetta " N4 ", ont présenté un nombre de talles élevé, des graines plus longues et le poids de 1000 graines élevé.
