Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the availability of intellectual capital in Palestinian universities, and to identify the nature of the relationship and direction between intellectual capital and performance development, in addition to determining the moderating role of organizational culture between intellectual capital and the development of performance.

To achieve study objectives, the researcher designed a questionnaire as a study tool, was distributed on sample of (184) employee with managerial positions in Palestinian universities.

The main findings of the study: intellectual capital components (structures, customers and humans) are available in the Palestinian universities with a high degree.

There is a positive impact with a statistical significance between intellectual capital and performance development on the total and sub level.

Organizational culture modify the relationship between intellectual capital and performance development.

The main recommendations of the study: Continuously working on renewing intellectual capital in all components because of their impact on long-term performance development in Palestinian universities.

deployment the organizational culture and intellectual capital concepts, through workshops and panel discussions, as to be accelerate the implementation in order to improve performance.
