English Abstract

In the present work magnetic, electric and dielectric properties were investigated for mixed ferrite Zni-xAlo.5xFe2+o.5xO4 (where x=0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8) which are prepared using high purity oxides by standard ceramic technique.

The ionic radii of tetrahedral (Td) and octahedral (Oh) sites were calculated for all samples, they found to decrease linearly with increasing of the Al3+ ions.

DC conductivity (a) was measured as a function of temperature, which indicated that a increases with increasing the temperature which prove that the samples have a semiconductor behavior.

The inductance (L) was measured as a function of temperature, which for all samples didn't change.

This means that there is no transition and magnetization, which implies the samples are paramagnatic at room temperture.

Dielectric constant [real ( s'), imaginary ( s" ) and complex ( s *)], dielectric loss tangent (tanS) and AC conductivity (aAC) were investigated over the frequency range of (104 - 106)Hz at room temperature.

We found that the relation of s', s"and s*and tanS versus the frequency is changed exponentially, i.e the value of s', s"and s* and tanS decreases continuously with increasing the frequency, while aAC increases with increasing frequency.
