Abstract EN

This research deals with the economic and financial policy of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib, the importance of this research in the policy that adopted by Imam Ali, it was a revolution against the reality imposed on the nation.

Imam Ali inherited a flawed financial system that made him take the necessary reforms that bring the Islamic economy back to its proper path .

He had to change the tools of the executive authority to be able to implement his reform policy, he began to isolate the governors of Othman Ibn Affan, to replace them with the right and most proper of them in the state, he also take the money that the Caliph Othman made to his followers from the Muslim House of Wealth.

In addition, he returned to the policy of giving to the time of the Holy Prophet, I mean the equality of tender between Arab and non-Arab Muslims.

Several topics were presented in this research: the definition of economic and financial policy, and then the policy of Imam Ali in this field like: the retrieves of money, the equality of giving, its consideration of zakat, and attention to trade and industry and giving them the attention and care they deserve.

In this research, we concluded that the nominal goal of all the steps taken by Imam Ali in the economic and financial fields was the Muslim individual human being, Imam Ali wanted Muslims reach the spiritual perfection that Allah wanted to them and to provide a decent life and to harness all resources in the service of humanity
