Abstract EN

The present study aimed to investigate the model of structural equation of the thinking styles inventory developed by Sternberg and Wagner.

The study was conducted at 2017 as a secondary analysis of survey data (n = 1174) taken from a study on a random sample of Jordanian university students consisting of 1174 students.

The results of the study showed that there are direct and statistically significant effects of the Monarchic style, the external style, the conservative method, the libertarian style, the local style, Internal, global, judicial style of legislative thinking, as well as the direct influence of the Monarchic, conservative and global on the external thinking.

The results also showed that there is no direct effect of both the Oligarchic and the Anarchic thinking in legislative thinking.

As for the indirect effects of the variables, the results showed that there is an indirect effect of the Oligarchic, Anarchic, and conservative styles through the intermediate factor (the executive thinking) on the legislative thinking, and the absence of indirect influence between the Monarchic thinking and the legislative thinking Through the intermediary agent (executive thinking.
