Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure The Knowledge assessment in the hidden curriculum of students registered in The Physical Education Curriculum course at Yarmouk University.

The study aims to identify the differences in the study sample responses according to the variables of sex, the level of the school year, and students’ GPA.

The researchers used the descriptive approach to a sample of (219) students from the Faculty of Physical Education who are enrolled in a course of physical education curriculum at Yarmouk University for the year 2016/2017.

The sample covered 96.05 % of the population, the sample was chosen randomly.

The results of the study indicated that the knowledge assessment in the hidden curriculum for the students registered in a course of physical education curriculum at Yarmouk University were "low"(the level of achievement was 40.94 %), that the knowledge assessment between males and females were equal, and the results also indicated that there are statistically significant differences for the third-year and above students and for those whose grading was Very Good and above.

The study recommends further studies be conducted to enhance the knowledge in the area of the hidden curriculum with sports students at the Faculty of Education at Yarmouk University, and it adds modules describing the courses of physical education curriculum related to the hidden curriculum.
