The objective of this study is to try to measure the impact of financial performance indicators represented in: economic value added, profit per share and return on assets on the market value of shares expressed at the closing price of industrial establishments listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.
On a sample of 30 industrial establishments listed on the Amman Stock Exchange over three years from 2014 to 2016 using PANEL models and using Eviews 10.
The study found that there is a significant correlation between the earnings per share and the closing price, which is largely responsible for the explanations of changes in market value by 91%, and the absence of a statistically significant relationship between the economic value added and the return on assets with the closing price.
