The present article focuses on the role of emotional intelligence in the marital relationship as one of the most important interpersonal relationships.

Emotional intelligence is a notion which has became more and more interesting psychologists.

Many studies have explained in different ways and by using different methods how it effects the quality of marital relationship, especially the marital satisfaction ,this way of studies has given new answers that are not as the traditional answers given in the field of psychological studies.
