This study aimed to detect the relationship between the three dimensions of health Locus of control and the type of coping strategies among patients with chronic renal insufficiency, study sample consisted of 72 patients (29 women, men 43 .Two measures scale are used ; Walston multidimensional health locus of control , and Coson scalecoping strategies., Results revealed a significant correlation between the strategy of confrontation focused on social- support and qnd the two external locus of control others powerful and luck R = (0.20 and 0.24), Results show no significant correlation between health locus of control and disease duration while a correlation between the confrontational strategy focused on emotion and confrontation strategy focused on social support and duration of the disease R = (0.35 and 0.19).
