Renewable energy is clean energy sources.

Algeria has not yet used renewable energy on a large scale for the provision of energy services, where there are still a number of constraints and obstacles facing the expansion of the use, including the high cost.

In spite of the technical maturity reached by the networks to generate electricity using wind power and solar thermal systems capabilities up to a few hundred megawatts, but it still can not be competitive on a commercial scale, the study aims to find ways to develop the use of renewable energy in Algeria.
