stagnation is one of the cognitive methods that affect the individual's private life on the one hand, and the social field in which he or she lives on the other and thus on the quality of life of individuals.

The study used a descriptive method.

The research sample consisted of (165) son and daughter of different economic and social levels.

The study tools included the general data form, the intellectual rigidity questionnaire and the quality of life questionnaire for the children.

The research aimed to: 1- Identifying the differences among the sample in the intellectual inertia according to the study variables.

2- To identify the differences between the sample in quality of life according to the variables of the study.

3 - Determine the correlation between the questionnaire of intellectual rigidity and the themes of the quality questionnaire of children's lives.

4 - Determining the percentage of participation factors affecting the quality of life of children.

5 - Identification of the relative weights of the priority dimensions of quality of life for members of the research sample.

The research reached: 1 - There are differences of statistical significance between the average score of the sample in the intellectual deadlock according to the variables of the study.

2 - There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample in quality of life according to the variables of the study.

3 - There is a correlation between the questionnaire of intellectual rigidity and the themes of the quality questionnaire of children's lives.

The percentage of participation of factors affecting the quality of life of children varies.

The relative weights of the priority of the quality dimensions of life of the individuals of the research sample differ.

The research recommended that : 1.

The media, universities and social institutions should be interested in preparing educational courses for parents to raise awareness of improving the quality of life for their children.

2 - The establishment of intellectual and cultural seminars to promote the concepts of responsibility and intellectual openness and the establishment of a culture of dialogue.

Organizing workshops and holding scientific conferences for the development of cultural knowledge.

Providing the free scientific and cultural atmosphere of open dialogue.

4 - Design guidance programs and benefit from specialists to raise the level of competence of the couple, which is reflected in a cycle on the quality of life of children.

5.

Adoption of the housing section to prepare comprehensive training courses aimed at reducing intellectual stagnation.
