Abstract EN

The objective of this research is to find out "effectiveness of teaching-learning design according to Dick & Carey’s model of achievement and development of reflective thinking skills among the students of electrical department at Sulaymani Polytechnic University".

To investigate the research objectives, chooses deliberately sample research, which consisted of (37) students in first stage electricity department / Kalar Technical Institute.

They were randomly distributed into two groups: experimental and control group.

After equivalence groups in the number of variables , then applied the final test of achievement and reflective thinking, after confirmation its validity and Reliability.

The study found that: There is a statistically significant difference at the level (α = 1.15) between the average scores of the experimental group and average scores of the students control group in the post test of achievement, reflective thinking and its some sub-skills (, in favor of experimental group, Olso found between the average scores of experimental group in pre and post- test of the reflective thinking skills and all its sub-skills, in favor of post test.

Finally, the study ends up a list of relational recommendations.
