Abstraction is a rhetorical term that interested scholars and appealed to poets.

This is because it has an element of mystery that leads to expanding the meaning.

The most important indication in Abbasi Poetry are the controlling and managing in making use of time indication so as to show man's attitude towards time whether it is collision or reconciliation or psychology.

One of its indications is that the poet absent himself outwardly and suggest himself inwardly.

Abstraction works also on isolating the inner self from types of soliloquy that express a lot of meanings and indications that if remain stored, they will become a psychological stress, whereas speaking them out may put the poets in danger.

Similar to stress are the cases of estrangement, isolation and escape to the inside and express what can not be expressed.

It also refers to the absolute, the general and the future.

This paper has concluded that the poetry of wisdom is written, in the most part of it, in an abstract way because it used the art of abstraction when the poets feared the rulers.

It helped them in admonitions to the praised ones and to others.

Abstraction expressed the poets' anxiety.

It was also the best mask to hide faults and sins and to comfort the self.

Abstraction had also helped to raise them to the level of self-esteem and selfappreciation and to give them back their self-balance.

Abstraction as a form of indicating the "I" and the "You" simultaneously and of indicating the limited and the unlimited, the now and the future, is a deep poetic glimpse that reserves a lot of indications in spite of its tiny existing form as it is either a preposition or pronoun
