The study aims to identify the opinions of science teachers to evaluate the science book for the second grade.
The average sample consisted of (67) teachers and school (96%), (39) males and (28) females, The researcher adopted a questionnaire consisting of (84) paragraphs, divided into six areas: (Introduction to the book, technical direction, objectives, content, questions).
Activities, exercises, calendar), and verified the veracity of the scale and its stability, Adopted statistical analysis package (spss) to extract the results showed the results: 1.
The views of the science teachers in the assessment of the science book for the second grade are average, with a medium degree and all the fields of the questionnaire: (book introduction, technical direction, objectives, content, questions, activities, exercises, calendar).

There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the opinions of the science teachers in the evaluation of the science book for the second grade, from their point of view according to gender.
In statistical terms it reached (0.02), which is statistically significant for males with an average of (2.15) Female arithmetic mean (2.11).

There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the opinions of the science teachers in the evaluation of the science book for the second grade average from their point of view according to the different years of experience, where the value of (F) (0.45) is not statistically significant.
The study recommended the following: - The teacher's guide to the Science Book should be provided to help teachers teach the book fully.
- Holding periodic meetings for teachers, educational supervisors and administrators of the curriculum to exchange experiences and proposals in the field of authoring, directing and evaluating books and curricula.
- The general objectives of the book must be set at the beginning and it is essential that the book achieve the emotional goals of developing students' sense of the Creator's greatness.
