Abdul Rahman Munif worked from the beginning to employ history in narrative writing, so his five novels (cities of salt) and trilogy (land of blackness) came with an epic and documentary nature where events overlapped and interwoven relationships between characters where fact partly touch upon history, the man writes history as creative novelist not with the logic of detective historian, here some of Munir’s narrative structures were fortified with history with all its coordinates which redrafted the Arabic desert geography materially and intellectually, to produce at the end last an Arab human being, different in his cultural orientations, and his identity features.
