Abstract EN

The social sciences and critical studies have undergone enormous development in the modern era, the linguistic lexicon, the lexicon of criticism have been enriched with many concepts, about very similar and identifiable, in some cases and different in 'other cases .

This forces us to wait using these concepts in the field of criticism.

In this research, we will identify a modern critical current that is the social approach, and then look for its manifestations in the Algerian critique, studying and analyzing how this approach is applied to literary texts by some of our critics, showing the success or failure of these critics in applying this approach.
