Thematization is one of the foundations of textual coherence.
It concerns the centralization of the text around a central theme, which appears in the title of the text, or in its introduction, or in a word repeated around all the parts of the text.
this focus extends structurally and semantically to weave the global meanings of the text.
In this context, the object of this article will be focused on studying the coherence of the novelist text through the technique of thematization, in the short story "story of tang" by I brahim el kouni.

La thématisation est l’un des fondements de la cohérence textuelle.
Elle concerne la centralisation du texte autour d’un thème central, qui apparait soit dans le titre du texte, ou dans son introduction, soit dans un mot qui se répète autour duquel tourne toutes les parties du texte, et cette focalisation s’étend structurellement et sémantiquement pour tisser une toile de significations globales.
Dans ce cadre, le sujet de cet article sera centré sur la mise en évidence de cohérence du texte nouvelliste à travers la technique de la thématisation, dans la nouvelle intitulée « histoire de la langue » de Ibrahim El Kouni
