Abstract EN

Despite the negative judgments on the Ottoman rule of Algeria, there are many luminous areas, which were the victim of this non-objective judgment, the accordingly deserve the attention of researchers in order to re-read the Algerian scientific and cultural achievements during that period.

This paper will mainly deal with this issue, Through appreciating the linguistic studies accomplished by the Algerian mind, by a bibliographical documentary reading that could be a database for other studies about this important era of the Algerian cultural history
