The objective of this paper is to make a typology of the municipalities of wilaya of SAIDA in terms of territorial capacity.
For this, the use of the hierarchical ascending classification (HAC) method is propice because it makes it possible categories of municipalities with similar characteristics from the point of view of the variables selected.
The results clearly show three groups of municipalities with different territorial capabilities depending on whether they are urban, semi urban or rural.
Abstract FRE
L’objectif de ce papier est d’effectuer une typologie des communes au sein de la wilaya de saida, en termes de capabilités territoriales.
Pour cela, le recours à la méthode de classification ascendante hiérarchique (CAH) est pertinent dans la mesure où il permet de constituer des catégories de communes présentant des niveaux de développement similaire selon les variables retenues.
Les résultats font apparaitre nettement trois groupes de communes aux capabilités territoriales différentes selon qu’elles soient à caractère urbain, semi urbain ou rural.
