In a globalized media discourse being actually captive of various ideological conflicts, translation becomes a necessity.

Indeed, we live a world media war in which the news is framed and shaped according to the media policy of its relevant media source agency where translation has to comply with the target media source policy in terms of political tendencies and trends.

Thus, translation in news media, typically the audio-visual one, seems to undergo a reframing process of news stories in terms of content and cultural values .Hence, we are moving more smoothly towards news creation rather than news translation.

In this regard, this paper comes to spot the light on simultaneous interpreting which is an important aspect of live international satellite broadcasts.

In fact, the role of interpreter-mediated becomes crucial in live debates, talk shows and news casts using different audio-visual translation techniques.

However, being captive between media authority and politics ascendancy, this type of interpreting could lead to many conflicts between the communication interlocutors in the absence of professional ethics.
