The importance of tourism and tourism competitiveness indicators has increased in recent years to determine the various areas that countries must consider to obtain a higher share of tourism income.
The study will highlight the importance of the Environmental Sustainability Index and its role in supporting the competitiveness of the tourism sector for a group of Arab countries during the period 2007-2017(2007 is the year of the first report of the indicators of the competitiveness of travel and tourism from Party of the World Economic Forum).

L’importance des indicateurs de compétitivité du tourisme et du tourisme a augmenté ces dernières années pour déterminer les différents domaines que les pays doivent prendre en compte pour obtenir une part plus importante des revenus du tourisme.
Et sur les indicateurs avancés que l'intérêt croissant pour ceux qui ont trait à la durabilité de l’environnement, où il tentera de recherche souligner l’importance de l’indice de durabilité environnementale et son rôle dans la compétitivité du secteur du tourisme pour un groupe de pays arabes au cours de la période 2007-2017, (représentant 2007, l'année la publication du premier rapport des voyages compétitifs et des indicateurs touristiques Par le Forum économique mondial).
