Abstract EN

Our research deals with young people in Algeria after 2011, in terms of inclusion, social exclusion and migration.

Our problematic focuses mainly on the relationship of public policies through the development the Algerian country has made for young people.

The essential empirical findings of this study is to emphasize the direct relationship between public policy failure (development programs) and the status of many young people, who live exclusion and marginalization despite the protest movement that was fueled by these people in the beginning of 2011.

These protests aimed to realize their expectations and hopes, which was not realized.

Despite numerous tests and programs made by Algeria, these later failed because they were made in an improvisational and random way.

In fact, these policies aimed just to put down the protest movements and buying social peace, but the situation has increased the confusion of these young people’s future.

This reality has in turn a lot of disadvantages and bad consequences.

The most important one is that Algeria persecuted its youth and did not profit from their potentials.

It obliged them to emigrate or lead them to deviation and even to go to extremism.

The dreams of many of these people were disrupted and their future project was broken.
