This study aimed directly at studying the obstacles that limit the development of accounting information systems in the companies of the electrical industries listed in the Amman Stock Exchange (3), The researchers used the analytical descriptive method.

The data were collected through the design and development of a questionnaire that dealt with all the topics of the study.

The questionnaire was distributed to (40) employees in the finance departments, and (38) valid statistical analysis was carried out through the SPSS program, Financial resources, network resources, telecommunications, software resources and financial resources, The main recommendations of the study were to allocate part of the company's revenues to the development of accounting information system
