Abstract EN

This paper aims to analyze a small sample of the animated episodes of «The Amazing World of Gumball" cartoon, in order to reveal how the dubbing process applied in it and its contribution to the Arabization of the western content or to the Alienation of the Arabic language in the context of Arabization itself.

Through a quantitative-qualitative analysis, the main focus will be on the use of expressions in this dubbing depending on the observed situations and their different dimensions.

The study is based on a sample of 08 episodes of about 10-11 minutes from different seasons, which means a total corpus of about 80 minutes.
