Abstract EN

Many studies in the field of psychology demonstrate the importance of attachment in early years of life, when the child establishes a link with his attachment figure, which usually the mother whose purpose is to respond to his needs and help him gradually discover his surrounding world.

The quality of the answers to the construction of a secure feeling, which puts the child in confidence and allows him to develop in peace his new cognitive skills, and his emotional regulation abilities for a better exploration of the outside world especially the world of school.

Therefore, we can determine the child‟s investment and exploration of his environment, through his motivation and academic performance and his attachment style.

We will present during this intervention, the data of the clinical interview with the child and his teacher, and the résults of the attachment questionnaire during the latency phase Ricky Finzi Dottan, for a sample of 10 cases of schoolchildren aged between 7-12 years old, whose objective is to emphasize the importance of the link between the style of attachment of the child, and his academic performance.
