Abstract EN

The current economic crisis of Algeria led to a hot debate about the best channels to improve the situation and go out from the bottle neck.

One of the conceived strategies as a mean to resolve the economic problems is the infrastructure financing policy.

In this context, many issues should to be raised especially those concerned by the financing viability in the infrastructure projects and its relationship with the prospect economic growth both at short and long terms.

Theoretically, the public expenditure in the infrastructure plays a crucial role in performing and developing any economy.

This issue had been focused since nineties by economists who argued that financing infrastructure has its evident positive impacts on the economic growth in general.

The study examines the impact of the public expenditure in infrastructure on the economic growth by using ECM (Error Correction Model).

The results of the study indicate that there exists a positive relationship between infrastructure financing policy and the economic growth both at short and long terms.
