Abstract EN

This study aims to assess the quality of university life at the University of Adrar according to the issued reports by the Internal Quality Assurance Unit in the Algerian Higher Education Institutions.

The field of university life is one of the most important fields according to the new national reference for internal quality assurance which is issued by the Algerian National Commission for the application of quality assurance in institutions of higher education, its first report concerned with the assessment process at the University of Adrar was issued in 2017.

The study findings support the existence of an assessment under-average in various fields of university life.

This research recommended the need to increase the degree of effectiveness in informing the actors, interested and all concerned parties about the quality assurance procedures in the university institution, while increasing the given degree of independence to the quality assurance units to carry out assessment, auditing and monitoring activities to improve the quality of university life, which will positively affect the quality of the educational process and consequently ameliorate the rank of the Algerian university.
