Abstract EN
The study aimed at identifying the relationship between physical activity and academic adjustment of Al Balqa Applied University students in Jordan, as well as to determine the differences in the level of instructional adjustment depending on the variables (sex, specialty, physical activity, academic year).
The study sample consisted of 630 college students, of which were 257 male students and 373 female students to whom an instructional adjustment scale containing 84 paragraphs was applied.
The sample was randomly selected.
The researchers used the descriptive approach of one image survey due to its suitability for the purposes of the study.
Data were processed by using the statistics package for social studies (SPSS).
Among the most important findings of the researcher is that the adaptation to the academic level was average, and in favor of females, and the variable of faculty was in favor of Humanities Faculties, and the variable of activity practice was in favor of the practitioners of physical activity, and the variable of the academic year was for the students of the fourth year The researchers recommend that there is a need for the university to put forward courses for fitness and educational psychology and physical fitness as compulsory courses for their importance in increasing the level of instructional adaptation; in addition to holding guidance lectures to increase the level of adjustment.
