Abstract EN

The study aimed at measuring the effectiveness of a training program based on problem solving strategy on developing the classroom management skills of the university students.

The study followed the quasi-experimental method and the used tools were an observation card of the student’s management skills during his teaching in the classroom and a problem-based training program.

The study sample included (58) female university students during the first semester of the year 1437 - 1438 H.

The results showed that the overall average of the classroom management skills corresponds to the ( always) score for all skills except the skills (communication and evaluation) corresponding to the degree (often).

There are also statistically significant differences at the level of (Cl=0.01) of classroom management skills between pre-performance and post-performance.

All these differences were in favor to the average grade of students in the post-performance.

The study recommended enhancing the management skills of female students in the undergraduate stage and developing them through holding training courses for female students.
