The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the public schools principals at Jerash governorate for the growth mindset.

The descriptive survey method was used and the translated Arabic version of the School Mindset Rating Tool(SMRT) was also used in the study.

The veracity of tool was examined in two ways, where face validity of the tool was approved by the estimated agreement of arbitrators on the accuracy of the translation and linguistic wording of the paragraphs, which reached (.85) .The item corrected correlation was calculating, the correlation coefficient was ranged between (.336 - 67.).

The tool reliability was estimated by calculating the correlation coefficient of the internal consistency approach by using Cronbach Alpha, which reached (.860), also by using ( test -re test) method, it is reached (.880).

The study sample was consisted of (84)male and female principals of the public schools, whom represents(.471)of the study population that consisting of (174) male and female principals were selected randomly.

The results showed the following, the degree of practicing the public schools principals for the growth mindset is high with relative weight (3.73).

The result also showed there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample due to the gender variable , and there were statistically significant differences in the study sample due to the educational qualification in favor to the PHD., while there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample due to the year in service variable.

According to these results the study recommended to increase the level of practicing the principals of the growth mindset by holding the specialized leadership trains and by the educational qualifying and to run out more studies about this topic
