Abstract EN

This study aimed at designing an e-learning environment that employs active learning strategies and measuring its effectiveness in the developing of the skills of the future thinking in technology among seventh grade students.

The researchers applied the qualitative approach and the experimental approach by setting two groups and performing a pre application and apost application tests.

The sample was chosen from the female students of Ailboan Primary Co-ed School.

It consisted of (70) female students.

The study used three tools, the first was achievement test, included (20) items, the second was a questionnaire, included (20) items and the third was interviews, included (4) items to measure future thinking skills.

The study reached the following resulte: First, there are statistically significant differences at (a=0.05) level between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean scores of the female students in the control group in the post-test of future thinking skills in favor of the experimental group.

Second, there are statistically significant differences at (a=0.05) level between the mean scores of the experimental group female students and the mean scores of the female students of the control group in questionnaire of the future thinking skills in favor of the female students of the experimental group.

The third, there are statistically significant differences at (a=0.05) level between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean score of the control group students in interviews of future thinking skills in favor of the experimental group students.
