This study explores the artistic form of narration as one of the most important components that form the structural elements in Jordanian Samiha Khrais's novel al qurmiyya, which is rich inindications of dream, revolution, and freedom that are concerned by the pain of the unitarian arab dream.

the study manifests the role of the narrator in forming the narration as well as the artistic delusion and reveals the narrator's relationship with the author, the story narrated, and the audience to whom the story is narrated.

italso illustrates the definition of a perspective based on the narrator's position, image, voice, and function, without going into the history of the term's artistic development for the formalists, the structuralists, and the stylisticians.

the study focuses on the different functions of the narrator based on his nature, position, vision, and importance.

these functions are represented in organizing the narration, its structure, and its influence on its recipient in general (the audience).

the study particularizes the commentary function with consideration and analysis due to the important role it plays in structuring, revealing, and exploring the text.

in the light of the analytical descriptive approach, the study clarifies some of the representations of artistic commentary in al qurmiyya and presents its various manifestations with different functions.

these representations appear in open structural forms for different purposes, such as clarification, emphasis, presentation, influence, knowledge, delusion, leaving an impression, or suspense, as demanded by the artistic work.
