Abstract EN

This study aims at to investigating the effect of the brainstorming strategy on achievement of reading and writing skills among the fourth-grade students in Jordan, and to achieve the purpose of the study.

the researcher used tests: silent reading, verbal reading, functional writing, creativity writing, verified their validity and stability.

according to the study members (141) students distributed equally on the study groups; experimental and control, the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in reading and writing skills at (0.05 = α) due to the teaching method.

in favors of the experimental group, in light of these results, the researcher recommended using of a brainstorming strategy in the teaching of reading and writing skills for fourth grade primary students.
