Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to identify the image of the resistance hero in the Palestinian theater text and the nature of his artistic construction.

The resistance hero is a hero who is characterized by his call for freedom in its collective form, starting from the reality in the shaping and formation of his personality, which can not be separated from his life events.

In the attempt to reach the image of the resistance hero through the selection of the literary texts of the Palestinian theater are (The Door) of Ghassan Kanafani and (The Accused) of Jamal Banoura, and timeline of the search stretch between (1967 - 1987), where the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach in their research.

The research may be useful for theatrical artists from authors, directors, actors and critics, as well as providing interest for academic institutions dealing with literature and theater.
