أثر استراتيجية القراءة الثلاثية في تحسين فهم المقروء في المستوى الإبداعي لدى طلاب الصف التاسع الأساسي في الأردن

Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the effect of a triple reading strategy on improving creative reading comprehension among 9 th basic grade students in Jordan.

To achieve the aims of the study a creative reading comprehension test was constructed.

The subjects of the study consisted of (64) 9 th basic grade students from two purposefully selected schools in the directorate of education of Al- Mafraq district during scholastic year 2014/2015.

The subjects were divided into two groups (33) students in the experimental group taught by triple reading strategy, and (31) students in the control group taught by the conventional method.

The study includes (24) Classes.

The results of the study revealed that there were statistical significant differences in each of reading comprehension skill and in the skills as a whole due to the teaching method in the favor of the experimental group taught by triple reading strategy.
