This paper explores the significance of TVET policy issue and the challenges facing design and implementation of this policy in Kurdistan Region.
There are two ministries concerned with education in Kurdistan region.
The ministries are Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
This research paper provides a background of the setting, the issue, and the main concepts.
Data was gathered from 22 policymakers and policy implementers.
Data was then analyzed through grounded-theory method of analysis.
After coding through NVivo, five main concepts emerged.
The main finding of the study is that TVET is lagging in Kurdistan.
