Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the degree at which geography teachers have the structural teaching principles in the basic higher stage in Al-Karak governorate from their point of view, in the light of the variables of gender, experience, and educational qualification.

The study sample consisted of 90 male and female teachers.

A questionnaire which consisted of 30 items was used after verifying its validity and reliability.

In order to achieve the study objectives, the descriptive survey approach was used.

The results showed that the extent at which geography teachers have the structural teaching principles was a medium degree with a mean of (3.58).

The results showed that there are differences in gender in favor of the female teachers, while the results showed that there are no statistical differences attributed to the educational qualification.

As for the teaching experience, there are statistically significant differences in favor of the teaching experience of 10 years or more.

In the light of the results, the researcher recommends conducting more advanced training courses in order to train the male and female teachers regarding the structural teaching principles, and the supervisors should pursue the teaching performance of male and female teachers, including the acquisition and application of the structural teaching principles in a regular way during the educational process.
