This essay wants to highlight one of the Mutazilites men who studied the natural field, Al-Jahiz (T255), the author of "The Animal", which we can call the new organon.

Because Al-Jahiz had the advantage of taking precedence over the use of the experimental method and to free himself from Aristotelian rationality in the study of natural phenomena.

This book also reflects the qualities of the scientific mind characterized by Al-Jahiz such as the love of aspiration, the spirit of accuracy, the right to investigate, the precaution of prejudice, and the commitment to 'objectivity.
