Abstract EN

In this work, the quantum dot (QD) lasers dynamics were studied, with modulated injection current.

A model of its rate equations were solved numerically using Runge-Kutta method.

The effect of the modulation current amplitude, frequency and the bias dc current were included.

The study shows that the QD lasers dynamics includes different behaviors such as stable, periodic, multi- periodic and self- pulsing, then the system ending to the chaotic state.
