The subject of compatibility between religion and philosophy is one of the most important subjects that have always interested and attracted Jewish scholars, so their sacred book was carefully interpreted by the Clergy and Rabbis.

Jewish philosophers also contributed to the interpretation of religious texts .Although their interpretations were different, and their scriptures were vague and needed more clarification, they succeeded to apply a common method which was symbolic approach.

They have used this approach to extract the inner meaning of the text.

They have always claimed that the process of interpretation should be only done by intellectual philosophers and scholars.
