This study aims to detect the pattern of communication between the mother and her autistic child; we have relied on clinical approach, and the case study as a model.

We applied the observation grid to know the communication process between the mother and her son regarding some biological needs, and some emotional behaviors and the reactions of both.

The results showed that the mother resorted to the interpretation to explain the biological needs of her son with the indicative signs, but she failed to explain his emotional behavior because it is more associated with feelings of conscience.

And because of her son's inability to communicate verbally.
