Abstract EN

The study aimed to revealing the effect of job satisfaction on functional performance of employees as a comparison study between the two institutions in the SME sector, these institutions are public oases mills and private Djdei mills in Touggourt,; in addition to investigating the differences in the perception of workers in the two firms about functional performance.

After executing the analysis of questionnaire which included (32) paragraphs for (168) employees; the study concluded that : The degree of job satisfaction in the public institution is medium, while the degree of job satisfaction in private institution is large.

The level of functional performance in two institution is large, but in private institution is larger than in the public institution.

There is effect of dimensions of job satisfaction (the relationship between leaders and subordinates, safety at work, salary, promotion, conditions at work) on the functional performance of employees in private institution, while There is no effect in public institution.

There is a difference in the perception of workers in two institutions about job satisfaction and functional performance.
